Property tax and tangible tax bills will be delivered to property and business owners by the first of October each year. Property owners will receive a 2% discount on property and tangible taxes if paid by October 31st. Tax payments are due December 31st. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Please check in advance for holiday schedules. Payments can also be made at Heritage Bank (all Northern Kentucky locations). Please check in advance for their hours of operation. Postmarks are accepted.
Mastercard, Visa, and Discover credit card payments are accepted online.
Please note: Tax bills are mailed out to property and business owners. We do not mail tax bills to mortgage companies. To avoid duplicate payments, please forward your tax bill to your mortgage company or check with them to see if they have already made a payment. Duplicate payments will not be refunded until after January 1st.
2021 Tax Rates:
Real Property: $0.307 dollars per $100.00 of the assessed property value.
Tangible Property: $0.297 dollars per $100.00 of the assessed property other than motor vehicles.
2021 Homestead/Disability Exemption is 40,500.

If you are 65 years of age or older or are disabled, you may be eligible to receive a Homestead or Disability Exemption on your City of Erlanger and Kenton County property tax bills. Please contact the PVA (Property Valuation Administration) to apply.
