The construction season has stopped for the winter but will pick back up as soon as possible depending on the weather. Below are a few projects that will resume or start in the spring.

The Public Works Department received sealed bids on February 8th, 2022 for the Zeta Court Reconstruction project. The City received bids that included JPS Construction at $154,240.00 and Jefferson Contracting at $159,312.00. Due to unforeseen circumstances, JPS Construction will be dissolving their business so City will be awarding the project to Jefferson Contracting, which is the next lowest bidder.
The new Silverlake Park restroom project is underway, Radius Construction is awaiting plan approval to move forward with footings and foundation to get the building started.
Rector Excavation has begun the demolition phase of the construction for phase 2 of the Silverlake Park Improvement Project. Storm sewer piping and curb work will be following, as weather permits.
The Woodward Avenue street replacement project will be starting back within the next couple of weeks, weather permitting, and will be completed within a few weeks once the contractor begins.
