The incentive and grant for owners of real property provide a reimbursement of a portion of demolition costs for property owners who wish to demolish abandoned or blighted buildings for the purposes of redevelopment.
The EDGE incentive is available to certain qualifying new or expanding businesses and provides an annual reimbursement of up to one-third (33.33%) of the annual total city occupational license fee withheld by the employer.
The Economic Incentive and Grant for new commercial buildings or the conversion of residential buildings to commercial offices. The grant provides at 50% reimbursement (up to $20,000) for qualifying capital improvements.
The Economic Incentive and Grant for Small Businesses provides at 50% reimbursement (up to $10,000) for qualifying capital improvements made to commercial buildings.
