The City of Erlanger announced its 2026 Events Calendar, unveiling a lineup designed to provide residents of all ages with unique, immersive experiences throughout the year. The expanded calendar introduces several new events while bringing back beloved community traditions.
“Our goal when creating events is to build experiences for residents they can’t get anywhere else,” said Community Engagement Coordinator Lauryn Groce. “We conducted extensive research on events throughout Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, and developed a plan to bring one-of-a-kind experiences to our neighbors that aren’t readily available in our region.”
Erlanger’s signature Summer Sendoff celebration continues to be one of the city’s most anticipated annual gatherings. In 2025, the event drew more than 6,000 attendees for an evening of music, entertainment, food trucks, and local vendors. The 2026 Summer Sendoff will return on September 19 with a full day of activities for the community.
In addition to previously hosted events, including the Depot Days series in June and July, the City created new events in response to feedback from neighbors.
“Each year, we strive to create experiences to meet the needs of our community members,” said City Administrator Mark Collier. “We received great feedback about incorporating more events geared toward younger generations and events specifically for women. We kept this input at the forefront while developing this year’s calendar and remain committed to listening to our residents as we continue to build events designed for them.”
New Events Debuting in 2026 Include:
