Baseball Field Reservations

The City holds a Baseball Lottery each February to distribute fields fairly between the different baseball leagues. The Administration Department contacts the League’s representatives who are invited to attend the Baseball Lottery. Individual coaches may attend the Lottery, but cannot participate.

Once the fields have been assigned to each league, permits will be distributed. Coaches MUST have these permits with them during practices and games in case they are asked to present them. Teams practicing on fields without a permit or permission from another league or team will be asked to leave. We ask all the leagues who participate to follow the City’s rules, just like the players are expected to follow the league’s rules.

The City’s baseball fields cannot be reserved on Sundays.

The City only does the Baseball Lottery for spring baseball. Our baseball fields are not available for fall baseball.

soccer Field Reservations

The City’s soccer fields may be reserved Monday through Saturday during limited dates. Permits are distributed to those who make reservations. Coaches or players MUST have these permits with them during practices and games in case they are asked to present them. Teams or players practicing without a permit will be asked to leave. We ask everyone who participates to follow the City’s rules.

Soccer Field Reservations are not permitted on:

Sundays (open to all residents for play)
March 15 – June 30 (baseball season – the soccer fields are in close proximity to baseball fields)
During city events

basketball and tennis court Reservations

The City’s tennis and basketball courts may be reserved Monday through Saturday. Permits are distributed to those who make reservations. The City’s tennis and basketball courts cannot be reserved on Sundays.

Shelter reservations

A $25.00 deposit in check form, payable to City of Erlanger, and a permit are required to reserve the shelter. The deposit should be made, in-person, at 505 Commonwealth Avenue. The permit holder must be present at the event to present the permit if needed.

Please note: Reservations are for Erlanger residents only. Due to the quantity of reservation requests, if your deposit is not received by the due date, your reservation will be cancelled without notice.
