The City holds a Baseball Lottery each February to distribute fields fairly between the different baseball leagues. The Administration Department contacts the League’s representatives who are invited to attend the Baseball Lottery. Individual coaches may attend the Lottery, but cannot participate.
Once the fields have been assigned to each league, permits will be distributed. Coaches MUST have these permits with them during practices and games in case they are asked to present them. Teams practicing on fields without a permit or permission from another league or team will be asked to leave. We ask all the leagues who participate to follow the City’s rules, just like the players are expected to follow the league’s rules.
The City’s baseball fields are not reserved on Sundays.

The City only does the Baseball Lottery for spring baseball. Our baseball fields are not available for fall baseball.
