It’s that time of year! The Holiday Light Collection Event will be held December 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026. Holiday lights (traditional and LED style bulbs) can be dropped off at various locations throughout Northern Kentucky, including the Erlanger City Building (505 Commonwealth Ave).
Each year, there is a friendly competition between Kenton, Boone, and Campbell Counties to see which county can collect the most holiday lights. Kenton County has taken the lead 3 out of the 4 years of collection. Working together, the three counties collected and diverted 7,242 pounds (3.6 tons) of holiday lights from the landfill earlier this year!
