SPECIAL MEETING
ERLANGER CITY COUNCIL
April 28, 2026
Mayor Jessica Fette called the special council meeting of the Erlanger City Council to order in the City of Erlanger Council Chambers at 5:30 P.M., Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
The following Members of City Council were present: Tom Cahill (arrived at 5:33 p.m.), Tyson Hermes, Jennifer Jasper-Lucas, Rebecca Reckers (arrived at 5:35 p.m.), and Renee Skidmore. Council Members Chris Farmer, Michele Fields, Diana Niceley, and Renee Wilson were not present.
Also present were: Mayor Jessica Fette, Chief of Police Mike Leming, City Administrator Mark Collier, City Clerk Sherry Hoffman, Director of Economic Development/ACAO Nick Eads, Director of Finance/HR Kara Kramer, Director of Public Safety Kyle Rader, Director of Public Works Kevin Quinn, Fire/EMS Chief Randy Godsey, Technology Innovation Technician Jim White, and Attorney Avery Dietz.
BUDGET DISCUSSION
Mayor Jessica Fette welcomed everyone and provided opening remarks.
Director Kara Kramer provided an understanding of the financial framework.
City Administrator Mark Collier provided an operational overview and the following departments presented an overview of their submitted budgets:
- General Government (City Clerk Sherry Hoffman)
- Economic Development and City Events (Director and ACAO Nick Eads)
- Human Resources (HR Administrator Stephanie Coyle)
- Finance (Assistant Finance Director Chrissie Fultz)
- Information Technology (IT Technician Jim White)
- Police (Chief Mike Leming)
- Fire/EMS (Chief Randy Godsey)
- Public Safety Facility (Director of Public Safety Kyle Rader)
- Public Works and Parks (Director Kevin Quinn)
Questions were asked by City Council members and answered by staff.
City Administrator Mark Collier discussed key takeaways and the next steps in passing the budget.
