The annual Sidewalk Replacement Program contract with Humphrey Concrete has been extended for one year. The contractor will start in late fall and finish up in the spring of 2026. The contractor will begin where they left off in the Cherry Hill Subdivision.
The Sycamore Tree road repair project is ongoing with the asphalt repairs completed. The new concrete islands have been installed to separate the travel lane from the walking path, and the street has been crack filled and seal coated. Upcoming items include fencing, guard rail work on the bridges, slip stabilization, banner poles and landscape planters to be installed on the islands.
The Eons Park Project is underway. Work has started on the walking path on Sycamore Tree Lane as mentioned above. Topsoil has been brought in to top dress the Dog Park area, and the City received bids in early August for a project seeing a new parking lot, sidewalk and intersection improvements. Fencing for the Dog Park area and electric are in the early stages of the design phase.
