Carl lived in Erlanger most of his life. He and his wife raised their son on Division St. He served in the US Army as a S. Sergeant during WWII and was awarded a Purple Medal. He began his own business in Northern Ky, Tri-City Insurance in Florence and also continued his service as a veteran volunteer for the Disabled American Veterans for many years. He loved his US American flag and proudly flew it all his life.
