Expansion reflects Erlanger’s business-friendly approach and long-term partnership with global employers.
The City of Erlanger is proud to announce that ADM, a global leader in nature-based ingredients and solutions, is investing $26 million to expand its Erlanger campus with a 3,600-square-foot addition to its existing facility. The expansion further reinforces Erlanger’s reputation as one of the most business-friendly communities in the region and a premier location for advanced manufacturing, innovation, and global operations.
Located in Erlanger, ADM’s campus is home to the company’s flagship U.S. flavors facility and supports national and international markets. With this latest investment, the Erlanger campus has become the second-largest ADM presence in the company’s global portfolio, underscoring Erlanger’s strategic importance to ADM’s long-term growth.
“This investment is a strong vote of confidence in Erlanger,” said Erlanger Mayor Jessica Fette. “ADM’s continued growth here reflects the strength of our workforce, the reliability of our infrastructure, and our city’s commitment to being a responsive and dependable partner for business. Erlanger is proud to be a place where global companies can grow for the long term.”
The expansion builds on ADM’s $15 million investment completed in 2025, which added 7,200 square feet to the company’s Customer Creation and Innovation Center. Together, these investments position Erlanger as a key location for ADM’s global innovation work in taste, flavor, and color development, while supporting continued economic growth in Northern Kentucky.
City officials credit the expansion to Erlanger’s hands-on, business-friendly approach to economic development—focused on early engagement, coordination across departments, and removing barriers to investment.
“ADM’s decision to expand again in Erlanger reflects years of collaboration and planning,” said Nick Eads, Erlanger’s Director of Economic Development. “This is a major win for our community and region, and a testament to Erlanger’s long-term economic vitality.”
Work on the expansion began shortly after Mark Collier, now serving as Erlanger’s City Administrator, was hired as the City’s Economic Development Director—highlighting the City’s proactive focus on business retention and long-range planning.
“The success of projects like this comes down to strong partnerships and clear communication,” said Mark Collier. “Erlanger works hard to make it easy for companies to invest, expand, and succeed.
