Rick graduated from Lloyd High School. After graduation, Rick joined the Navy where he did one tour in Vietnam. Rick was the Kentucky state president for veterans. He was the founder and commander of Chapter 88 in Elsmere, KY. He was the designer of the Vietnam Memorial on the corner of Commonwealth and Dixie Highway. Rick passed away Feb. 13, 2000.
