SPECIAL MEETING
ERLANGER CITY COUNCIL
May 5, 2026
Mayor Jessica Fette called the special council meeting of the Erlanger City Council to order in the City of Erlanger Council Chambers at 5:30 P.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
The following Members of City Council were present: Tom Cahill, Chris Farmer, Michele Fields, Tyson Hermes, Jennifer Jasper-Lucas, Diana Niceley, Rebecca Reckers, Renee Skidmore, and Renee Wilson.
Also present were: Mayor Jessica Fette, Chief of Police Mike Leming, City Administrator Mark Collier, City Clerk Sherry Hoffman, and City Attorney Jack Gatlin.
LEGISLATION – Mr. Gatlin read the first reading of an ordinance adopting a budget for the City of Erlanger for the fiscal year beginning on July 1, 2026, and providing that no monies shall be expended by or on behalf of the City of Erlanger except in accordance with that adopted budget.
Mr. Gatlin read the first reading of an ordinance establishing a personnel pay and classification plan for all Erlanger employees and nonelected city officers.
Mr. Gatlin read the first reading of an ordinance establishing a public safety facility restricted fund balance for the purpose of accumulating and reserving funds for the planning, design, construction, renovation, and equipping of a Department of Public Safety Facility for the City of Erlanger.
Discussion followed the reading of legislation:
- Ms. Jasper-Lucas – Requested a budget ad hoc meeting.
