The City of Erlanger is proud to recognize Coca-Cola Consolidated, a warehouse and distribution center for all Coca-Cola brands, as the February Business Spotlight. Coca-Cola Consolidated, the largest Coca-Cola bottler in the United States, is a key contributor to the region’s workforce and economic development within Erlanger. The company’s presence contributes to local job creation, business growth, and community engagement throughout Northern Kentucky. Over 500 teammates work at the Erlanger branch, and the organization has plans to continue growing.
Coca-Cola Consolidated prioritizes community development and philanthropy, noting in their Business Spotlight video they have donated over $89,000 to Go Pantry, a non-profit community outreach program that provides food for hungry kids in NKY on days schools are not open. The organization also supports local sports teams, most recently partnering with the University of Kentucky to host a “Green Game,” emphasizing the importance of recycling.
While Coca-Cola notably impacts the community, positivity is what drives the company from the inside. Scott Rizzo, a warehouse support employee, noted that there is endless opportunity for advancement within the organization; He stated. “The head people at this company all started at the bottom and worked their way up.” And while the organization may be one of the largest in Erlanger, there is no shortage of one-on-one engagement between employees.
