CARROL HOLLOWELL

us ARMY COR

Carrol Hollowell, along with his two brothers, entered the US Army on the very same day at the Ft Thomas Armory in Ky in the early 1940’s. He served for nearly 3 years during WWII in N. Africa, Italy, France and Germany. After returning from the war, he married his sweetheart who waited all those years for him to come home. They moved to Erlanger where they raised their 3 children and lived there until his death in 1995. He was a member of St. Henry’s Church and retired from Cincinnati Gas and Electric. Fortunately, he and both brothers returned alive from the war.
