EUGENE DUNFORD

U.S. Army Corporal Eugene Dunford was born in Mercer County, West Virginia on April 21, 1933 to his parents Clarence R. Dunford and Zora Lee Lusk. At the young age of 20, Eugene enlisted in the Army on June 17, 1953. He fought in the Korean War until he was discharged on May 17, 1955. After his time in the Army, he focused on his family and relocated to Kentucky. Eugene was a proud father of eight children, Lorraine, Buster, Gary, Tina, Mark, Sissy, Phil, and Carla. He worked the rest of his days as a mechanic until he passed away on June 20, 1986.
