LTC Bill Adkisson served over 25 years in the Kentucky Air National Guard as the Physician Assistant for the 123rd Medical Group in Louisville, Kentucky. He received numerous awards including Biologic Sciences Corps Officer of the Year in 1997 and Physician Assistant of the Year for the Air Force PA’s in 2005. He served in Balad, Iraq during Desert Storm where he was to save many lives and actively operated on many casualties, both civilian and military. He retired in 2016. He was a 1974 graduate of Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger.
