The City of Erlanger has contracted with Reigler Blacktop to do a street repair project on Narrows Road and Country Road. Narrows Road will see milling of the old asphalt, some full depth repairs to fix the subgrade, new sidewalks and a new layer of asphalt applied.
Country Road will get the cul de sac island removed, milled and repaved.
There will be interruptions with traffic flow and access to driveways at times on Narrows Road. Traffic control will be set up as this project will see one lane shut down while the contractor is on site. Some residents will lose access to their driveway for a few days while full depth repairs are being made in front of their residence or if the new sidewalk goes in front of their residence.
The contractor has not given a start date but they can start when the weather cooperates and the project must be completed by June 30, 2026.
The Erlanger Public Works will hold a Public Workshop at their facility at 26 Montgomery Drive on February 26th, from 8am-12pm and from 1pm to 6pm. This will give residents affected by this project an opportunity to come in and ask questions and look at the plans to see how they might be affected.
