RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ERLANGER, KENTUCKY, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF STATE FUNDING FOR THE EONS ADVENTURE PARK PROJECT PURSUANT TO HOUSE BILL 900
WHEREAS, the Kentucky General Assembly approved House Bill 900 during the 2026 Regular Session, providing one-time appropriations for local capital improvement projects throughout the Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, the City of Erlanger has been awarded funding in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000), to be distributed over a two-year period, for capital improvements associated with the EONS Adventure Park project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that acceptance of these funds will support recreational, infrastructure, and quality-of-life improvements within the City of Erlanger; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor is authorized to execute all documents and take all actions necessary to accept and administer said funding on behalf of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ERLANGER, KENTUCKY:
Section 1. The City of Erlanger hereby accepts the funding awarded pursuant to House Bill 900 for the EONS Adventure Park project.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute all grant agreements, certifications, and related documents necessary to receive and administer such funding.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
