RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ERLANGER, KENTUCKY, TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR KENTON COUNTY REGIONAL SPECIAL WEAPONS AND TACTICS (S.W.A.T.), INC.
WHEREAS, under the Interlocal Cooperation Act set forth in KRS 65.210 to 65.300 (the “Act”), an powers, privileges or authority capable of being exercised by a local government may be exercised jointly with one or more local government entities under a Cooperation Agreement allowing joint and cooperative action; and
WHEREAS, various municipalities in Kenton County have created a multi-jurisdictional S.W.A.T. unit, that by agreement, replaced NKERU;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved this the Kenton County, Kentucky.
That the Mayor is authorized to sign the above mentioned Agreement, as well as any other necessary documents relating to the project.
